We have shown the entire world that we are an amazing nation.  We can struggle with endurance, integrity and achieve success. On 26 May, multitude of people gathered at the National Stadium, who believed that this country will be victorious, just and democratic. We will inevitably achieve our goals in this struggle.

26 May 2009 was people’s day; it was the day of each and every one of you, of all those people who overcame fears, fatigue and frustration. I am convinced that with this endurance and sprit we will inevitably be victorious.

Yesterday a significant stage of the struggle ended. Following this very serious stage, we, of course have to make amendments to our action plans. We should define how to act to have the struggle end with victory.

To be successful, all those people who are standing here, who share the same vision and is ready to fight till the end should be united. Those who believe in each other and are confident in achieving our ultimate goal should stand by each other. We will not retreat even a step back, as we are aware that our struggle is just. This country needs this struggle, our children, and our future generation needs this struggle. We have to do our best to achieve our goal and more activity from your part will surely lead us to the ultimate goal.

We won on 26 May. We are moving forward. We are moving closer to victory with heavy, complex, painful but steady steps. We will do everything to peacefully walk to our goal. On 26 May we have showed the entire world that our struggle is only peaceful.

The more complex and heavy the struggle leading towards the ultimate victory, the more concrete and precious achievement will be for each of us, and the more we will cherish it.

I am convinced that we will inevitably be successful.
