Main Board of the "Democratic Movement" declares that Mikhail Saakashvili who have not done anything for the democratic development of Georgia and is personally the reason of the political crisis within the country, tries to portray himself as leading figure in the region and to resolve the problems of other countries.

The authorities of Georgia, as many times earlier, with its own deed by brutal interfering in the internal political affairs of the sovereign country- Ukraine, once more jeopardized the image of Georgia in the civilized world.

During the visit of US Vice-President Joseph Biden in Georgia, our Government reiterated its announcement on launching a New Wave of Democracy in the country.

6. Vakhtang Talakhadze – for friendship and having critical position;
7. Ilia Ananidze – for his brother;
8. Zurab Shalikiani – for his father;

On 21 July, opposition leaders gathered to present an appeal to Joe Biden, which they will formally hand over to the U.S. Vice President on the day of his arrival to Georgia.

Against the backdrop of the emerging problems in mobilizing revenues in the Georgian budget, discussions have recently intensified over the possible handover of the Georgian railway with the purpose of covering the budget deficit.
