Due to your active involvement and support the Second Channel of Public Broadcaster offers the political parties the opportunity to present own views and programs to the population of Georgia. Of course the coverage area of second Chanel, lack of sufficient technical equipment and the format of the program are limiting these opportunity.

Based on the experience of this year 2011 and taking into consideration forthcoming elections it would important to make changes and amendments in the Second Chanel to make it more attractive for the general public. Discussion among political parties with participation of NDI and representatives of Public Broadcaster would be important to come up with the solution for the Second Chanel.

Democratic Movement – United Georgia would appreciate if NDI can initiate and organize the meeting of all parties involved and counts on your support on this issue. We are convinced that the initiative will receive support from the majority of the parties.
